So I know I kinda promised some before and afters of our new house for this month’s 10 on 10…but I’m not quite prepared yet! So I think I’ll hold off on those for next month! In June we shot a wedding in Grand Lake, Colorado and decided to leave a few days early so we could do a bit of exploring:)These are from our first hike. Daniel and I took quite a few film shots as well and I was hoping to upload those for this post, but my printer/scanner is being stubborn at the moment so you’ll have to wait on those too!

After you’ve taken a look, don’t forget to check out Jamie’s post to see what she’s been up to!

10 on 10 is a monthly portrait project that brings together a group of photographers to document 10 photos on the 10th of each month. This month has been insane! We bought our first house and moved in Memorial Day weekend. Went straight into painting and trying to unpack necessities while both working and shooting weddings on the weekends! It’s a crazy crazy time but it’s gonna be so great once we’ve got everything done. You can bet that next month’s 10 on 10 post will have a bunch of before-and-afters, but for this month I decided to take some photos of a few of my favorite things about this house. Our fenced in backyard for our fur-babies to wander around in, starting an herb garden (thanks Sara!), adding to my plant collection, hardwood floors and lots of windows.

Now head on over to blog to see her Kelley Fantasma’s 10-on-10 post! Be sure to leave her some love!

10 on 10 is a monthly portrait project that brings together a group of photographers to document 10 photos on the 10th of each month. This month one of my wonderful sisters (I have 5) graduated from nursing school! She just has to pass her boards and she will be an RN. We went out to dinner to celebrate and I decided my 10 on 10 post this month would be photos from that night, all taken and edited on my iPhone.

Now that you’ve seen a glimpse of my day, head on over to the talented Jamie Faulkner’s post to see hers! Make sure to leave her some love!

A few weeks ago we went on a super short trip to St. Louis. We had gone there for the first time last year for a wedding, but had to drive back that night because we had another wedding the next day! We didn’t get to do any exploring that time, so we picked a weekend to come back and visit. I was hoping to have some film developed in time to share those, but alas, I haven’t! I’ll have to share those sometime.
